Level 3 Pistol

Pre-Requisite: ‘Level 2 Pistol Course.’

Time: 9:00 am - 4:00 pm with a 1-hour break for lunch. Bring your lunch or you can go into Hagerman.

Please note: All classes are nonrefundable. IF YOU CANCEL, you will receive a 1/2 credit for a future class.  A 2nd cancellation will forfeit this credit. 

Required Student Skill Level:

The ‘Level 3 Pistol Course’ is only available to those clients who have previously taken our ‘Level 2 Pistol Course.’

Class Information:

All clients in this class have previously been through the pistol fundamentals (Level 1 or Idaho ECWP), thus we will spend the first part of this class quickly reviewing each shooter’s fundamentals and cover reloads (combat/tactical) and draws. Additionally, we will introduce faster shooting techniques, including front sight only, point shooting, and quicker trigger manipulations. Once students show competency then the class will proceed to the various steel target ranges.  The idea of the class is to re-sharpen technique and add to a shooter's skill set. 

Estimated Round Count:

Students should bring or plan to buy 200 rounds of ammunition.

End of Class Objective:

This class will sharpen and build onto your speed and accuracy skills previously learned while adding more advanced techniques.

What to Bring:

Bring a pistol with at least 2 magazines, magazine pouches, holster, belt, ear protection, and eye protection.

We have a pro-shop at the Shaw Shooting range if equipment and ammunition is needed.  Additionally, if you forget or are unable to acquire some of the required equipment, such as holsters, magazine pouches, etc., we can rent equipment out for $10.00.  We also have many different handguns available for rent. Firearm rentals are $35.00.
